About Cellcept
Cellcept is the flagship brand of Mycophenolate Mofetil, a medication used to prevent transplant rejection in patients who have received an organ transplant. The same active ingredient is also sold as Myfenax. Roche supplies the medicine in 500mg tablets.
Cellcept availability in Asia
Cellcept is registered across 14 markets including the Philippines, Indonesia and Taiwan, with availability also in South Korea, Japan and the UAE. Note that generic Mycophenolate Mofetil, often manufactured in India, is far more affordable than the original brand, which helps maintain access for expats and people far from a well stocked pharmacy. This medication is best used under the ongoing care of a doctor.
