What you will receive

Avapro is the originator brand name, made by Sanofi. We use it here to identify the medicine only; we are not affiliated with Sanofi and do not ship the original Avapro.

  • You receive a generic equivalent: the same active ingredient (Irbesartan) at the same dose, mostly recognised Indian branded generics from vetted manufacturers.
  • The exact brand supplied depends on what is in stock at the dispatching warehouse.
  • A regulated generic matches the original ingredient for ingredient by legal standard.

Are all generics really the same? Read the honest answer.

About Avapro

Avapro is a recognised brand of irbesartan, a medication used for the management of hypertension and diabetic nephropathy. The same active ingredient is also sold under the brand name Aprovel. These treatment options are supplied as tablets in 150mg and 300mg strengths for the management of blood pressure.

Buying Avapro online

Avapro is registered across 14 markets, including Hong Kong, Thailand and Malaysia, with availability also in the Philippines, Indonesia and Taiwan. Generic irbesartan, much of it made in India, is far more affordable than the original brand, offering practical value for expats and people living in areas far from a major pharmacy. These medications remain one of the most ordered options across the region and can be purchased online for delivery to these markets.
