About Tamiflu
Tamiflu contains the active ingredient oseltamivir, an antiviral medication used in the management of influenza. Produced by Roche, it is supplied as a 75mg tablet. For many, having access to effective antivirals can assist in managing seasonal flu symptoms when used promptly after they appear.
Tamiflu availability in Asia
Tamiflu is registered across 14 markets, including Hong Kong, Thailand and Malaysia, with availability also in the Philippines, Indonesia and Taiwan. Note that generic oseltamivir, much of it made in India, is far more affordable than the original brand. This medication is best used under a doctor’s care, especially for expats and people living far from a well stocked pharmacy.
