What is flutiform used for?

Flutiform is prescribed for people whose asthma isn't controlled by using a regular corticosteroid inhaler (a preventer) with a reliever inhaler (eg salbutamol) used when needed to open the airways. Flutiform doesn't cure asthma - it's used to help manage and control your asthma. It should be used regularly, even when you have no asthma symptoms.

What is the difference between flutiform 50 microgram and flutiform 250 microgram?

Flutiform 50 microgram / 5 microgram inhaler is indicated in adults, adolescents and children aged 5 years and above. Flutiform 125 microgram / 5 microgram inhaler is indicated in adults and adolescents aged 12 years and above. Flutiform 250 microgram /10 microgram inhaler is indicated in adults only.

What Flutiform contains The active substances are fluticasone propionate and formoterol fumarate dihydrate. Each metered dose (ex-valve) contains 250 micrograms fluticasone propionate and 10 micrograms formoterol fumarate dihydrate.
