Budenofalk 3mg capsules contain lactose and sucrose. Patients with rare hereditary problems of galactose or fructose intolerance, glucose-galactose malabsorption, sucrase-isomaltase insufficiency or total lactase deficiency should not take this medicine.

How do budenofalk capsules work?

Budenofalk capsules are taken by mouth to treat inflammatory bowel disease and autoimmune hepatitis. The capsules contain granules of budesonide with a special coating that allows the budesonide to pass through the stomach and be released at the end of the small intestine and start of the large intestine (colon).
