What is ProAir HFA used for?
ProAir HFA is a bronchodilator that is used to treat or prevent bronchospasm in people with reversible obstructive airway disease. Albuterol is also used to prevent exercise-induced bronchospasm. ProAir HFA is for use in adults and children at least 4 years old. ProAir HFA may also be used for purposes not listed in this medication guide.

Proair HFA is a prescription medicine used in people 4 years of age and older to: It is not known if Proair HFA is safe and effective in children under 4 years of age. Who should not use Proair HFA? Do not use Proair HFA if you are allergic to albuterol sulfate or any of the ingredients in Proair HFA.
What is ProAir used for?
ProAir is used to help treat or prevent bronchospasm from obstructive airway disease * that’s reversible in certain children. It’s also used to help prevent bronchospasm from exercise in certain children. Both of these uses are approved for children ages 4 years and older.
What is ProAir HFA inhalation aerosol?
PROAIR HFA Inhalation Aerosol is a pressurized metered-dose aerosol unit with a dose counter. PROAIR HFA is for oral inhalation only. It contains a microcrystalline suspension of albuterol sulfate in propellant HFA-134a (1, 1, 1, 2-tetrafluoroethane) and ethanol.
