Which aerochamber is best for a 10 year old?

The orange aerochamber (infant) for babies under 1 year old. The yellow aerochamber (child) is suitable for most children from 1 to 10 years. The blue aerochamber is the adult spacer suitable for over 10 years. The blue aerochamber also comes with a mouthpiece and no mask.

How do you use an aerochamber inhaler?

Remove the cap from the inhaler. Remove the cap from the Aerochamber. Shake the inhaler and insert in Aerochamber. Place the mouthpiece in the mouth and ensure lips are sealed around the mouthpiece. Press the inhaler once. Take a deep, slow breath in (if a whistling noise is heard you are breathing in too hard or fast) until your lungs are full up.

What is the difference between aerochamber Plus and flow-Vu®?

The AeroChamber Plus is the standard valved holding chamber, the AeroChamber Flow-Vu® offers a Flow-Vu® Indicator to let you know that the patient is inhaling correctly. Both the AeroChamber Plus with Mask and the AeroChamber Flow-Vu with Mask come with the large size of mask, suitable for persons of age 5 years and above.
